The short version

The free 10-minute call has no strings attached.
You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts. Your signed quote is the real agreement.
Website + Google Ads is $1,285 CAD, a fixed price agreed with you before any work starts.
We work hard for results, but nobody can honestly guarantee rankings or a number of leads.

Who we are

sidekickdev.ca is run by Sidekick (“we”, “us”), based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The free call and quotes

Booking a free call or texting us doesn't commit you to anything. After we talk, we send a written quote with a fixed price for the work it describes. Work only starts once you accept it. If something in your quote or project agreement differs from these terms, the quote or agreement wins.

Pricing

Prices on this site, like “Website + Google Ads $1,285 CAD”, are in Canadian dollars. GST is added where it applies. The price is agreed with you before any work starts. If you ask for changes that go beyond it, we agree on the price of the extra work with you before doing it.

Joey: say whether Google ad spend is included in the price or paid directly to Google by the client, and add your deposit and payment terms (for example 50% to start, 50% at launch).

Rush service

“Live in 48 hours” rush service depends on getting your content, logins and approvals on time. If we're waiting on something from you, the clock pauses. We'll tell you up front whether your project qualifies for rush service.

Results

We build sites and ads to bring you calls and leads, and we'll show you what's working. But search rankings, ad prices and the number of leads depend on Google, your market and your competitors. We can't guarantee a particular result, and nothing on this site is a promise of one.

Guides and blog posts

Our guides are general information about websites, ads and software for small businesses. They aren't legal, tax, HR or financial advice. Prices and rules change, so check anything important with a qualified professional.

Texting us

If you tap “Text us”, your carrier's normal message rates apply. We reply during business hours. Please don't text sensitive information such as passwords or card numbers.

Ownership

The text, design and graphics on this site belong to Sidekick. Please don't copy them without asking. Who owns the work we make for you (your website, ad accounts, content) is set out in your project agreement. Your ad accounts and domain are set up in your name wherever possible.

Joey: check that last sentence matches how you actually set up domains and Google Ads accounts. Change it or delete it if not.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, including client sites and Google. We aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Limits on liability

We do our best to keep this site accurate and working, but we provide it “as is”. As far as the law allows, Sidekick isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using this site. Nothing here limits rights you have under Alberta consumer protection law that can't be limited.

Privacy

How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
